I thought it was clear. » « Ripley: What was it? » « Ash: Bring back life form. Priority One. All other priorities rescinded. » « Parker: The damn company. What about our lives, you son of a bitch? » « Ash: I repeat, all other priorities are rescinded. » « Ripley: How do we kill it, Ash? There's gotta be a way of killing it. How? How do we do it? » « Ash: You can't. » « Parker: That's bullshit. » « Ash: You still don't understand what you're dealing with, do you? The perfect organism. Its structural perfection is matched only by its hostility. » « Lambert: You admire it. » « Ash: I admire its purity. A survivor… unclouded by conscience, remorse, or delusions of morality. » « Parker: Look, I am… I've heard enough of this, and I'm asking you to pull the plug. » [Ripley goes to disconnect Ash, who interrupts] « Ash: Last word. » « Ripley: What? » « Ash: I can't lie to you about your chances, but… you have my sympathies. » « Ripley: Micro changes in air density, my ass. » « Dallas: Something has attached itself to him. We have to get him to the infirmary right away. » « Ripley: What kind of thing? I need a clear definition. » « Dallas: An organism. Open the hatch. » « Ripley: Wait a minute. If we let it in, the ship could be infected. You know the quarantine procedure. Twenty-four hours for decontamination. » « Dallas: He could die in twenty-four hours. Open the hatch. » « Ripley: Listen to me, if we break quarantine, we could all die. » « Lambert: Look, could you open the god-damned hatch? We have to get him inside. » « Ripley: No. I can't do that and if you were in my position, you'd do the same. » « Dallas: Ripley, this is an order. Open that hatch right now, do you hear me? » « Ripley: Yes. » « Dallas: Ripley. This is an order. Do you hear me? » « Ripley: Yes. I read you. The answer is negative. »

Plots: After investigating a mysterious transmission of unknown origin, the crew of a commercial spacecraft encounters a deadly lifeform. In the distant future, the commercial spaceship “Nostromo” crew is on its way home when the crew picks up a distress call from a distant moon. The crew must investigate, and the spaceship descends on the small planetoid afterwards. After a rough landing, three crew members leave the spaceship to explore the area on the planetoid. At the same time, the ship’s computer deciphers the message. When the crew realizes it is not alone on the spaceship, they must deal with the consequences. In cold, boundless space, AI super-computer Mother picks up a distress signal from Acheron, a barren nearby moon. Bound by protocol, it awakens the 7-member crew of the commercial towing vehicle, USCSS Nostromo, from cryosleep. Soon, as Captain Arthur Dallas and his crew descend to the inhospitable celestial body known as LV-426 to investigate the mysterious transmission, they discover a downed extraterrestrial spacecraft and its bizarre cargo. Now, dark questions loom. Was the cryptic signal a desperate SOS or a warning? Either way, something else has somehow found its way into the Nostromo, and its silent corridors will never be safe again. Who can confront the Alien, the unwanted eighth passenger?
